BioVerbeek expands by 4 hectares

BioVerbeek is expanding by 4 hectares of organic cultivation in Velden. This week, the growers signed an agreement to take over an existing greenhouse, which will be converted to organic production. With this expansion, BioVerbeek will grow to a total of 14 hectares. From 2026 onwards, organic tomatoes and bell peppers will be grown at this location.

We congratulate BioVerbeek on this important step towards a healthy and promising future.

This expansion strengthens Harvest House’s position as the market leader in organic salads under glass. By 2026, the total organic area within Harvest House will reach 40 hectares, representing around half of the Dutch organic greenhouse‑cultivated salads area.
