BioVerbeek is expanding with 4 hectares of organic cultivation in Velden. This week, the growers signed to take over an existing greenhouse, which will be converted to organic production. With this, BioVerbeek will grow to a total of 14 hectares. From 2026, they will grow organic tomatoes and bell peppers here.
We congratulate BioVerbeek on this great step towards a healthy and promising future.
This expansion strengthens Harvest House's position as the market leader in organic salads under glass. By 2026, the total organic area within Harvest House will reach 40 hectares, about half of the Dutch organic greenhouse vegetable area.
