Privacy statement

Harvest House takes privacy seriously. In this privacy statement, we explain which personal data we collect and use, for what purpose we do so and how we ensure that these personal data are properly secured.

Privacy policy
As a data controller, Harvest House processes, manages and secures personal data with the utmost care. We offer visitors to our website a secure information space. In doing so, we comply with the requirements imposed on us by the General Data Protection Regulation (AVG) and national legislation. We have set out how we meet these requirements in our Privacy Regulations.

Personal data and processing purpose
We use personal data, namely a User's name, telephone number and e-mail address when the User in question has provided Harvest House with these personal data via the website, for example by completing the contact form or by the User subscribing to Harvest House's newsletter. Harvest House uses these personal data exclusively for the purpose for which the User has provided Harvest House with the personal data. If the User has signed up for the newsletter, Harvest House will use the personal data to send the newsletter to the User.

Security and retention
The organisation takes appropriate measures to prevent abuse, loss, unauthorised access and other undesirable actions with personal data. These measures, including encryption using an SSL certificate, ensure a security level appropriate to the data we Incorporate. These measures are included in our privacy regulations. Harvest House has a clean desk policy, employees are not allowed to take any data home and all cupboards and drawers are locked after working hours. ICT also provides guidelines on regularly changing passwords. Personal data collected are not kept longer than necessary. Harvest House observes the statutory periods.

Google Analytics
Because we would like to know how our visitors use the website, so that we can optimise the use of the website, we use Google Analytics. To this end, we have concluded a processor agreement with Google. Cookies from Google are therefore placed via this website. The information is anonymised as much as possible. Your IP address is expressly not used. We therefore cannot trace you personally. For more information about the Google Analytics policy click here

Third parties
As a matter of principle, personal data is not shared with third parties. If data are shared, this is only done because it is necessary for the execution of an agreement or to comply with a legal obligation. Agreements are made with organisations that process your data on behalf of the organisation to ensure that your data are properly secured there too. This is done through a so-called Processing Agreement or through a privacy statement in the General Terms and Conditions of this third party.

Data and rights
You have the right to object to the processing of your data and you have the right to access, correct or delete your data. You may also, where appropriate, ask the organisation to restrict the processing of your personal data or to transfer your data to yourself or to a third party.

Would you like to exercise any or all of these rights, do you have questions about how we handle privacy and personal data, or do you have a complaint about how we process personal data? If so, please contact Harvest House's communications manager at communicatie@harvesthouse.nl

In the unlikely event that you cannot work it out with us, you can lodge a complaint with the regulator, the Personal Data Authority at: https: //autoriteitpersoonsgegevens.nl/nl/zelf-doen/privacyrechten/klacht-over-gebruik-persoonsgegevens.

Amendments to the privacy statement
We reserve the right to amend this privacy statement. If a revised version is adopted, we will provide clear notification of this with information on the most important changes. We will also indicate when the statement was last amended.
