This year's first organic cucumbers have been harvested at Vitensa. Jaap van den Berg, Commercial Manager at Harvest House, accepted the first box from Radu Stoica, Harvest Supervisor at Vitensa. This officially launched the Dutch organic season.
Vitensa grows the organic cucumbers with attention to soil health and nature.
"We are looking forward to a good and stable season," says Van den Berg. The organic cucumbers are supplied through Harvest House to retail customers and wholesalers at home and abroad. With this, Harvest House is responding to the growing demand for organic salads.
