Who are you?
HBO/WO working and thinking level;
Experience or strong affinity with sustainability, data and impact analysis (ESG, LCA, footprint);
Analytically strong: you can structure, validate and make sense of data;
Proactive, structured and accurate;
Strong communication skills and able to collaborate with growers, partners and internal stakeholders;
You are communicatively strong and easily liaise with internal and external parties;
Good command of the English language;
Affinity with the fruit and vegetable sector is a plus.

What will you do?
As ESG & Impact Specialist, you are responsible for providing insight into and accelerating sustainability within our AGF chain. You ensure that sustainability data is collected, validated and analysed in a robust and reliable way. You translate these data into clear reports, dashboards and footprint analyses. You also develop these insights into concrete improvement actions and strategic advice, for instance by translating them into business cases for sustainable investments. Your analyses and recommendations will help both Harvest House and our growers take targeted steps towards a future-proof and more sustainable chain.
You work closely with colleagues, growers and external partners to aggregate and structure sustainability information from the chain. You take the substantive lead on methodologies such as footprint and LCA analyses and ensure consistent, substantiated and applicable outcomes.
You will also support our growers and members in presenting ESG information to external stakeholders such as banks, governments, certifying bodies and Partners. You ensure that data is complete, reliable and audit-ready, so growers can stand firm in interviews or assessment processes.
With your work, you will support strategic decision-making within Harvest House and actively contribute to a future-proof, transparent and well-founded sustainability strategy.
What tasks will you be given?
You collect, validate and analyse sustainability data from the supply chain;
You develop reports in accordance with CSRD/ESRS, GRI and other guidelines;
You perform CO₂ analyses, footprint and LCA calculations and assess assumptions and methodology;
You translate complex data into understandable dashboards, reports and visuals;
You map impact drivers (cultivation, energy, material, packaging, transport) and initiate improvement opportunities;
You support growers in providing ESG information to external stakeholders such as banks, the government and certifying bodies;
You ensure that data and substantiation are consistent, transparent and audit-ready;
You translate ESG information into business cases for strategic considerations;
You take the substantive lead towards external partners for impact measurements and LCA;
You advise colleagues and management on strategic sustainable choices based on analyses;
You actively contribute to the further development and future-proofing of our sustainability strategy.
