What will you do?
You play an important role between cultivation and our end customer. As Supply Chain Planner, your work is an extension of the daily sales process and an indispensable link in our business. With your critical and analytical view, you ensure the right match between supply and demand, making sure the operational processes run smoothly. Thanks to you, our Partner gets the right products at exactly the right time. A challenging task that requires an efficient approach.
As soon as you know our Partner's order, you get to work to ensure that the Partner receives exactly what it wants on the right day and at the right time. Throughout the process, you keep an overview. The vagaries of the fruit vegetable market characterise your working environment. The dynamic game of supply and demand means that the Supply Chain department is always on edge. Sudden changes in weather can suddenly cause extra demand and/or supply, which you have to anticipate systematically.
You like to have your affairs in order and even during busy times, you know how to keep calm and get the job done. We start the day early and finish when the work is done.
You will join a close-knit team and work closely with other departments. You will have the freedom and space to make the work 'your own'. After a week of hard work together, it is time for a 'VRIJMIBO' in the bar and you will also meet colleagues from other departments for a friendly chat!
What tasks will you be given?
Incorporate all orders from our European retailers and handle all logistics activities;
You make transport plans and supervise the process;
You work well with transporters and ensure that all products are delivered to Partners on time;
You make purchase forecasts;
You have regular contact with growers and packers to plan all goods flows;
You maintain good contact with our suppliers, growers and packing stations;
You provide broad support for various activities in the department.
