"At our cultivation company in Bleiswijk, we grow yellow bell peppers. We specialise in this colour and strive for the highest quality and best flavour — something we work on every single day.
In our sustainable cultivation, we make conscious choices. The sun is our greatest ally. It heats our greenhouses, makes the plants grow, and gives our peppers their delicious taste. When the sun doesn’t shine as much, we heat our greenhouses with residual heat from Rotterdam’s power plant. We are also in the process of switching to geothermal energy. In addition, we make good use of the CO₂ released by industry on the Maasvlakte to help our bell pepper plants grow. In this way, our plants are actually the green lungs of South Holland!"
