The Coeur de Boeuf stands out for its strongly ribbed appearance. This tomato ripens from the inside out. It tastes best when the skin is still a little orange colored. The taste is fresh sour to slightly sweet. You can use the tomato in nice slices for a salad. Sprinkle the flower-shaped slices with a good olive oil and some coarse sea salt and this beautiful tomato will steal the show on your plate!
