“We start with a small plant and after around four months, we can harvest the first sweet peppers. It’s all manual work. We harvest the sweet peppers carefully with a knife and only select the fruits that have sufficient colour; the others are left to grow. We use an electric harvest trolley that can pass easily along the paths, so we can reach everywhere. The full trolleys are then taken to the hall, ready for further processing and transport, en route to the consumer!”
